Nursery inspiration for the newest little HomeSlice

The last few months I’ve been obsessing about a new home project…the nursery!!! We are super excited for our first baby to arrive in early July!  In all of the excitement I’ve become obsessed with everything nursery and baby – paint colours, sheets, art, toys, chairs…you name it!  The plan is to share our adventure on how we decorate the baby’s room on the blog – it’s fun because the room is a blank canvas.

Here are a couple of baby rooms I love and that have become a bit of an inspiration as we figure out our new little one’s space.

{ Lay Baby Lay }

{ Elements of Style Blog }

{ Apartment Therapy via Pinterest }

{ Stella and Henry }

Any suggestions on baby nursery must haves as we start to plan?

    Love the green walls !!!!…so peaceful! Decorated my first baby nursery in that same shade of green…..31 years ago!!

  3. So very excited for you and your husband, Emilija! Baby stuff is so much fun to shop for :) I love all the inspiration pics you posted, especially that Lay Baby Lay one – her whole blog is chock-full of great nursery ideas.

    For must haves, definitely a good rocker and lights with dimmers. You can save space by putting a change pad on top of a dresser, if space is tight. Oh, and make sure your window coverings are blackout lined. You’ll want that baby to sleep as long as possible. Have fun decorating!
