Escargots à la Bourguignonne

A few weeks ago I tested out my recipe for Escargots à la Bourguignonne (snails with garlic).  Overall things turned out ok but I still think the recipe needs a bit of perfecting or maybe just some more time in the oven.  They don’t look as pretty as they tasted…  Below find out the recipe I tried and how the final product looked on my new plates!


1  stick of butter
1/4 cup  finely chopped parsley
2 chopped shallots
5 cloves of chopped garlic
24 canned snails

Mix the butter, parsley, shallot and garlic together in an oven safe dish.  Add escargots.  Heat over to 350 and bake for about 10-15 minutes (until bubbly and hot).  Serve with a nice, fresh loaf of French bread and enjoy!
