Bloggers Give Back – A garden mood board

As a part of the Bloggers Give Back project the bloggers involved have decided to put together a number of mood boards that show their take on what possibilities exist for the garden.  Let me just say that mood boards are completely addictive and now I’m thinking I might want to do one for my own backyard!

What I wanted to do with this mood board was to create a space that was relaxing, functional and easy to take care of.  You’ll see that the majority of the pieces in the garden are from Ikea and the fabrics and pillows are from Tonic Living – two of our sponsors for this project.

It was definitely a hard choice on what to pick but I’ve gone with some nice neutral greys and a splash of yellow and a few colourful pieces to brighten up the space.  I wanted to make sure there was an area to relax , then a dining space, some storage and lots of extra seating. Here is my take on the space:

Make sure to check-out the mood boards put together by all of the bloggers involved they will all be posting their boards over the next few days.

If you’d like to help us with this project by making a donation, you can mail a cheque made out to George Herman House – 158 Madison Avenue – Toronto, ON – M5R 2S5.

*Please make sure you write on the cheque that the funds are specifically for “The Healing Garden” so that the funds are dedicated towards our project. A tax receipt will be mailed to you.
